Signature Charity Foundation proudly supports
another wonderful local cause …

Our Foundation is both proud and honoured to be involved with nine other local Geelong businesses who have rallied together to assist with the purchase of ten new electric beds for the Children’s Ward at the Geelong Hospital.

The child-friendly beds are new to the hospital and will bring a special touch to the rooms. Local company Unique Care has been working closely with the Children’s Ward and has designed brightly coloured electric beds for children and adolescents in both pink and blue with flower bed heads for girls and boats for boys.

The fabulous electronic beds allow for high/low bed height adjustment, which not only assists nursing staff in bedside procedures but also allows parents and children to adjust the height of the bed when necessary. This is especially great for young patients getting in and out of bed following surgery.

We wish the Business for Beds Founder, Mr Wade Vautier and the Barwon Health Foundation all the very best with this wonderful contribution to the community of Geelong and thank them for the opportunity to be involved. Here’s hoping the beds make the lives of sick young children just a little brighter!
